EAGLE ROCK

Echo Park's dense layout and diverse topography has made it an attractive area for artists, actors, and young professionals for years. Once home to stars like folksinger Woodie Guthrie, actor Steve McQueen, and jazz musician Art Pepper, Echo Park has a long and colorful history as one of Los Angeles's hippest neighborhoods. Today the tradition continues with its vibrant murals, palm tree rimmed lake, trendy shopping  and hip hangouts. Echo Park Lake provides endless entertainment whether that means renting paddle boats on the water, admiring the lotus flowers, BBQ'ing with friends or walking its grounds. The houses range in style from vintage mid-century marvels to Queen Anne Victorians.
